English Weather!
They got it right! The Weather forecast was predicting scorching hot weather and it happened!
The great thing is... everyone was PREPARED!
At REDCON-2 we have running water, so, we took advantage of that and a very good friend of ours installed a "MIST SPRAY GAZEBO" for people to walk through and cool down! Well done Jay! Great idea!
Gameplay was awesome as usual and we threw the Armoured Snatch Landrover and Pinzgauer onto the Battlefield for extra Fun!

The Ridge doesn't have water... in fact, it is the most "RAW" Site we run (that is actually it's main appeal, as the terrain is fantastic!)
So, we decided to move the Shop/Catering/Hire Kit area to the lower Car Park in the shade! We also set up the Chrono/Shooting Range lower down the slope too - this proved popular!
We also had another Armoured Snatch Landrover join the fight (they are such brilliant Vehicles!) always adds an extra bit of immersion to the Gameplay!
Thank you ALL for playing and taking CARE so you didn't overheat!
Both Sites had a VERY strict Pyrotechnic BAN to ensure any fire hazard was removed - thank you all for your support!

Where has 10 Years gone!?!?
January 2012 we signed the contract to look after "Calves Close Spinney" at Chipping Warden. Being a former WWII "Communal Site Number 3" we decided to call it "Coms Site 3". During the War, Ladies and Gents from RAF Chipping Warden would use the Site for relaxing, sleeping, eating and they even ran shows there to entertain the troops!
Who would have thought that Years later there would be "Toy Soldiers" like us enjoying the Land!

The Site was in BAD state of repair - so we spent 6 Months cleaning and tidying the Site before we opened in JULY 2012. So many awesome people spent many Months there with brooms, shovels, bin bags and tools that made the land ready for Fun Airsoft Games!

From the steady flow of 50-60 players we soon starting hitting 100+ every two weeks and Coms Site 3 became a favorite for MANY people!
Over the years we have had the pleasure of meeting 100's of amazing people and run various types of Games!
Typically R.I.F..T. Airsoft is "Skirmish" - everyone Welcome, etc, etc but on occasion (and with the assistance of Amazing STAFF and Associates) we have run: Zombie Events, Sim Events, Evo Event, Blaster Tour, Airsoft League & other Weekenders and Special Events - all at Coms Site 3!

On Site retail is always a Bonus as it helps Customers with those essential (and non-essential) purchases!
"Pro-Airsoft Supplies" were awesome with lots of kit and Staff!
"M4 Mass" (M4 Matty) was always a giggle & even got stuck into the Games! The giant "Only Airsoft" (Combat-UK) have also been with us side by side and have now expanded into the wholesale route!
All of the guys who supported us a NOT forgotten and we REALLY thank them all for their friendship and support.

Such AMAZING People - so proud of them ALL!

As you may know, Hs2 are (unlucky for us) building a Tunnel right outside the Site! This means we lost our old SafeZone and the Grassland area we used... Great thing is there is still LOTS of excellent land left for us to use for Airsoft! R.I.F.T. Airsoft has spent a few thousand pounds on relocating the SafeZone and we plan a LOT more as soon as we know where the New Road will be built... We are just waiting on Hs2 to get the plans finished!

Saturday we had a get together and we invited LOTS of people from around 10 years ago! We all had a Fantastic Time and even some of the New R.I.F.T. Babies turned up for some Cake! (it is a Family Business after all!)
So much Fun was had which took us into Sunday where we had 124 AMAZING people share the day!

We still have 9 Years left on the Contract, so get your Weapons Loaded and we will see you all very soon!

TWO fantastic MoD Sites for you to play!
Thank you ALL so much for coming along and sharing the day with us.
So many new players & so many regulars too! The BOMB DUMP had a spring clean last week and we are also making other improvements to the Site as time goes by... Higher that usual numbers booked in to enjoy this excellent Site The Weather was good too! (we are in British Summer Time so we expect the worse!)
REDCON-2 had the players immerse themselves in this epic huge Site! We were honoured to have the guys from OnlyAirsoft play too! We hope you all had a great time!
