As promised, we are pleased to announce the upgrades to R.I.F.T. Airsoft Membership!
The Covid-19 situation as highlighted how loyal and important our Members are to us. Thank you ALL so much!
Most regulars to our Sites are already Members and many players join after just a few Games because they enjoy it so much!
We do have a “Membership App” in the pipeline (it is well overdue) and we are constantly thinking of ways we can improve on everything we do. The App will streamline everything even further.
One thing that is lacking is Membership Renewal Reminders. Lots of players forget when it is due, lose their Member Card or do not collect them to start with!
So, to simplify our renewal dates we have split the Year in Two:
JUNE (Blue Card) &
DECEMBER (Red Card)
Only Two Months of the Year for Renewals – it is easy for everyone to remember!
*EXAMPLE*
If you purchased Membership FROM JAN-APRIL 2020 - your Membership is now due in JUNE 2021.
If you purchased Membership during MAY 2020 onwards – your Membership is due in DECEMBER 2021.
If you Purchased Membership in 2019, then now is a perfect time to RENEW to receive your Membership extension to DECEMBER 2021 
If it has already expired, NOW is a VERY good time to renew! Everyone gets several Month(s) extra for FREE!

(UKARA runs for 12 Months – when you get a reminder that it is due to expire, we will extend it to meet your Membership Expiry Month)
Unfortunately, due to the impact Covid-19 has had to our business, we will be increasing the Game Fee from
£25 to £30. Loyalty is very much appreciated and for this reason, all up to date Rift Airsoft Members will be exempt from any increase in Game Fees.
We foresee a negative impact for many months to come.
Up to date R.I.F.T. Airsoft Members will NOT pay any extra and their Game Fee will remain the same.
(So, Members still pay £25 instead of £30!)
This offer is for our standard Skirmish Games only. Zombie/Sim/Special Events will be the same block price for all.
Please be reminded:
ALL MEMBERS WILL NEED TO PRESENT THEIR MEMBERSHIP CARD TO RECEIVE THE £5 DISCOUNT FROM THE £30 GAME FEE. WE WILL NOT HAVE TIME TO CHECK TO SEE IF YOUR MEMBERSHIP IS UP TO DATE AT TIME OF SIGNING IN! LOOK AFTER YOUR MEMBERSHIP CARD – KEEP IT WITH YOU!
Another addition to the NEW Membership Cards will be your UKARA Number. Although your Photo is not present, it still confirms your Full Name, R.I.F.T. Member Number & UKARA Number for quick reference.
This is a handy feature! Membership Cards will now be Posted by request.
R.I.F.T. Airsoft has always discounted the most used commodity on Site: Ammunition!
We will continue to offer discount to all members on .20g & .25g bb’s.

Airsoft Members with 10% Discount on almost all of the products they sell! Their information can be found on the reverse of your Membership Card. Other R.I.F.T. Airsoft News:
We are
planning to reopen again on the first Weekend in July!
Some Airsoft Sites have reopened already and others are opening at the end of June, however,
just to follow a more cautious route, we are planning to open in July.
Government Guidelines are still important to us, regardless of the fact most people are doing their own thing!
The first Event planned will be a 2 Day Event at Coms Site 3. Unlike our usual weekend Events, we will be treating the weekend as TWO seperate Game Days
(no Camping at this time)
We will have to limit the numbers and ensure that everyone follows the standard social distancing practice & keep themselves away from people they did not travel with. We will also have to add lots of other rules and change the format of the weekend accordingly.
All relevant information will be released on our Booking Page.
Due to limited Numbers, we will need to confirm 100% attendance.
In the past we always had lots of players book in and not show up on the day. Unfortunately, we will not be able to continue this way, so, we will have to implement “Pre-Pay” for the time being. Using this method will be easy – simply book in and Pay through the Booking Page. If you cannot make the Event, let us know and we will transfer your place to another player or hold it in credit for you. This system will be short term but essential for us when we reopen.
July’s roadmap looks good (still subject to confirmation) 4 Weekend Events at Coms Site 3, Single Sunday Events at REDCON-2 & the RIDGE plus VILLAGE dates to be added!
Chipping Warden, Coms Site 3:
High Speed Rail (HS2) is still going ahead (even though the Government is WAY in debt) however, they still seem to have the 108 Billion to build a Railway! So… there will be major disruption on site before the end of the year.
HS2 will need to take our Safezone and the area leading to & including the Grasslands.
As we are all aware, no Safezone = no Games! So, we are in the process for Planning to build a NEW Safezone on the opposite side of the Land near the Kill House Building.
Our advice is to play as much at Coms 3 as you can before HS2 take the Land & disruption starts!
Sadly, there will be no Birthday Game this year at Coms Site 3. This Event is VERY much a BIG Social Event – Sorry!
Abingdon, REDCON-2:
Unfortunately, we had to cancel the Epic “Shift Your Rifts” Event.
Over 800 people were Booked in over the 2 Days!!! It really hurt to close the Booking and announce that it was no longer going ahead. We have contacted the MOD and asked for next MAY Bank Holiday to run the Event again!
Fingers crossed it will go ahead! We ARE running at least one Game every Month and a Weekend Event in August! This Event will also allow you to Camp Over: STRICT Rules will apply - all subject to conditions & guidelines of course.....
(nr Luton) The RIDGE:
We are back at The Ridge on the 26th of July! The owners have been busy and created a new FLAT Car Park for us to use! It’s always been a Great Site but the Car Park was poor. Cant; wait to get back there!

(Royston) The Village:
DATES are now available!
First & Third Sunday of the Month with a few Wednesday Eve thrown in for good measure! (see dates to the right)
(Andover) The Bomb Dump:
The MOD have offered us an extended contract!
We will be running Games on the FIRST Sunday of the Month starting from September 2020

We have also been chatting with the Guys at Valkyrie! The NEW range of BB’s that have certainly made a very positive impression so far! Testing their Ammunition, we have been very surprised with the consistency and accuracy! If you would like to try them please send them a message!
